More Information
The 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE is available in two body styles: standard and coupe. At the same time, the configuration of the German crossover does not depend on the type of the selected modification. On the USA market, the GLE is presented with four-wheel drive, hydropneumatic suspension, a starter-generator and a 48-volt on-board system, which are combined with a 367-horsepower unit. Turbodiesel engines of 2 and 2.9 liters are also available for the car. Thanks to this equipment, the GLE is able to outperform the Lexus RX, Range Rover Sport, BMW X5 and other expensive crossovers in the competition. Depending on the version, the German model is equipped with a branded virtual dashboard, third row of seats, an extensive security complex, premium acoustics and other equipment. As is the case with other crossovers presented in the premium segment, the 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE, although it received a new body, in many ways resembles its predecessor. It is quite difficult to distinguish the current and previous versions of the crossover from the photo. As part of the restyling carried out, the manufacturer did not affect the configuration and prices, as well as the technical characteristics of its own model. Mercedes-Benz GLE is interesting in that almost all the equipment available with top-end versions can be obtained from the base one for a surcharge. Mercedes-Benz GLE looks more like the "junior" crossovers of the German brand. This model has a voluminous body with "piled up" front support legs. The head optics of the GLE are complemented by C-shaped LED strips. The grille is divided in the center by two wide louvres with a mesh structure. The fairly large front bumper is almost completely at the disposal of the air intake, which is partially covered from below by metal protection.
